How it works
Fill out a 2-minute form so you can get matched with the right table of eight.
You will be placed at a table with seven other guests and receive the exact location of the restaurant well in advance of the dinner. All guests pre-pay the dinner fee, which includes appetizer, entree, and wine or a non-alcoholic beverage.
Think of this like attending a fun dinner event or party where the host is looking out for you and making sure you meet good people and have a fantastic night.
Then just attend and enjoy!

An easy way to expand your social circle.
Studies have shown that eight is the perfect number if you are looking to connect and have meaningful conversations.

FAQ:
Dinner for Eight is open to those who find us via word of mouth, Eventbrite, LinkedIn, Meetup and Instagram.
This dinner club is geared to people 35-65 professionals based on the idea that it is harder to meet new people as you get older and have more of a tendency to get silo-ed in your career.
While we spend more time talking about who you are or what you think than what you do, we require LinkedIn membership as a vetting tool since Dinner For Eight is geared toward professionals. And it gives us a way to ensure people are real and engaging in a positive manner.
It is not gender based, everyone is welcome. It’s also not a dating event, but if you meet someone at a dinner you want to date, there is no rule against that.
We have repeat guests and always have about 70% new people as well.
The dinner fee covers appetizers, meal, wine or mocktails of your choice.
The fee is non-refundable once you commit so we can ensure we have 8 people and can manage the reservation process. But if you find you can't attend, you can sell your ticket to a friend so long as you let us know 48 hours in advance and provide their email and LinkedIn.
We are experimenting and learning as we go. Feedback, ideas, inquiries on how to host a Dinner for Eight in your city are all welcome. Our goal is to put a little more connection and community into our lives through good conversation and good food.
Restaurants vary. We change up the neighborhoods, mainly meet in Manhattan and opt for welcoming ambiance, great food, convenience and accessibility. This is a social supper club of sorts, focused on the shared interest in connection rather than the food as the raison d'etre. But we do love a great meal! Some past restaurants include Jams, l’Express, North Fork, Boucherie, Taralucci e Vino.
